Reactive Power Compensation and Its Significance
In the communication circuit, it is necessary to supply the load with both active and reactive power from the power supply. Active power refers to the electrical power required to keep the electrical equipment working normally, denoted by the letter "p", with the international unit being watts (W). Usually, we use kilowatts "KW" to represent active power. Reactive power refers to the power exchanged between the power supply and the electrical equipment, which is exchanged without consumption, known as reactive power, denoted by the letter "Q", with the international unit being volt-ampere reactive (var). Usually, we use kilovars "kvar" to represent reactive power.
Reactive Power and Its Significance
Introduction
1. Compensate for the reactive power consumed by itself, improve power factor;
2. Increase the transmission capacity of the power grid, improve equipment utilization rate;
3. Reduce line losses, transformer active losses, and reduce enterprise electricity costs; stabilize the voltage at the equipment usage end and power grid, improve power supply quality.
Under normal circumstances, some sensitive devices not only need to obtain active power from the power grid, but also need to obtain reactive power for their own use. Obviously, it is unreasonable for all these powers to be provided by the power grid and transmitted over long distances, which is usually impossible. This will lead to problems such as excessive current carrying capacity of transmission lines, high losses, voltage drop at the end, etc. The reasonable method is for devices that need to consume reactive power to generate reactive power at the power consumption end, which is what we often refer to as reactive power compensation. There are indeed many methods, such as using phase-shifting devices, synchronizing asynchronous motors, etc., but using power capacitors as compensating devices is currently the most widely used compensation method at home and abroad. This compensation method is characterized by easy installation, short manufacturing cycle, strong economic practicality, convenient operation and maintenance, and low self-loss.

Featured Products
The "BSMJ" series of self-healing low-voltage shunt capacitors adopts advanced polypropylene metallized film as the dielectric material, introduces foreign advanced technology and equipment, strictly organizes production in accordance with national IEC standards; mainly used for improving power factor in low-voltage power grids of 1200V and below, reducing line losses, improving power quality, and is a newly recommended energy-saving product by the country. The company relies on technological advantages, strictly follows the ISO9001 quality system management, with high product quality, competitive prices, attentive service, and a warranty period of one and a half years, significantly higher than domestic products in the same industry.

Elliptical and square self-healing low-voltage shunt power capacitors
When compensating capacitive reactive power, capacitors are often affected by harmonic currents, closing surge currents, and operating voltage, causing capacitor damage and power factor reduction. Therefore, it is necessary to install a series reactor at the front end of the capacitor to suppress and absorb harmonics, protect the capacitor, avoid the impact of harmonic voltage and current, improve power quality, increase system power factor, and extend the service life of the capacitor.
The HW-500APF series active power filter collects the current signal in real time through an external current transformer, separates the harmonic part through an internal detection circuit, generates compensating current with equal magnitude and opposite phase to the harmonics in the system through IGBT power converter, and achieves the function of filtering out harmonics. In addition, the HW-500APF series active power filter can also compensate for leading or lagging reactive current based on the actual current phase to improve power factor and compensate for reactive power in the power grid.
JKWS/F series intelligent reactive power compensation controller is a new type of distribution measurement and control equipment that integrates data acquisition, reactive power compensation, and power grid parameter analysis. It is suitable for monitoring and reactive power compensation control of 0.4kV AC,
50Hz low-voltage distribution systems.
The JKWS series intelligent reactive power compensation controller uses a high-speed digital signal processor as the core, adopts AC sampling, and the human-machine interface is a 128X64 dot matrix large-screen LCD display. It has distribution monitoring, reactive power compensation, harmonic analysis, adaptive frequency algorithm, and input signals that vary between 45Hz and 55Hz.
